We’re putting the finishing touches on a creative complex in the Fashion District: 54 brand new studios, move-in ready today. Whether you’re working solo or connecting with other creatives, this is the place to be! Here’s a preview of what makes this space special…
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Fashion District — home to 4,000+ small businesses selling decadent fabrics, affordable clothing, and all the bacon-wrapped hot dogs you can eat — anchors the southern corner of downtown LA. It’s urban, lively, and accessible, while avoiding the rougher aspects that the city center is infamous for.
“Peaceful” is not a word most people associate with DTLA — but come by one evening, after all the stores have closed down, and you’ll see it perfectly describes this magical corner of the city. No sirens break the calm night air out here; the streets are empty of cars and people, except for the cleaning crews diligently resetting the neighborhood every night.
We’re steps from Rossoblu, DAMA, Creature Comforts, and Cognoscenti Coffee. You can grab some street meat in Santee Alley, or take a city bike or bus towards the nearby Arts District or Little Tokyo for even more fine food and drink.
THE BUILDING
Built in 2006, this space is all about comfort and security. It boasts modern HVAC (a first for Lucky Cat!), fast WiFi, digital fob access, clean bathrooms, two elevators, and a loading dock. There’s secure parking onsite for $5/day; street parking is free in the evenings.
Our outdoor patio, complete with fire pit and lounge chairs, is the perfect place to host clients or kick back with friends. And nothing beats watching the sun set over the DTLA skyline from the rooftop, where we plan to have concerts and drive-in movies soon.
YOUR NEW STUDIO
All studios have padlocked 4x8 foot sliding doors, polished concrete floors, and sheetrock walls with an open-top design for HVAC and fire protection. 15 of them have floor-to-ceiling windows (as you can imagine, those will go fast!). Sizes range from 100–590 SF; 80% of them are less than $600/month, so we’re sure to find one that fits your budget.
