Once you’ve found a workshop, whether here or somewhere else, go ahead and unsubscribe — we won’t mind.

How it works.

There are over 50 studios between our three buildings (Lucky Cat Workshops in East Los Angeles, Lucky Cat Gallery in DTLA, and The Candy Factory in South Los Angeles), ranging from 100SF at the smallest to 2000SF at the largest. These are ‘work only’ studios — we are extremely strict on no residential use.

Any time a current member gives notice, we will list it here first, and then release it on Craigslist a few days later. If the price and size range seems good to you, write to us at luckycatlistings@gmail.com and we’ll set up a time to show you the space in person. Contracts are on a month-to-month basis, but most of our members choose to stay for many years!

Availability is extraordinarily rare: on average, we have nine vacancies a year. If one does get listed here, act fast — they usually get snapped up within 72 hours.

We’ll never hand out your email, or use it for anything other than studio availability announcements. It’s highly unlikely you’ll see more than 10 emails a year from us — we won’t bother you unless it’s something we really think you want to hear.
